Loosing hair is not exactly end of the world, but it is not anything lesser than that. Ask any bald person he will tell you the pain he is going through. On head, all human hair though looks same but considering their age and health they are different. Human hairs generally are in three possible states. Initial state hair represents the hair’s growth. It can be compared to childhood to adulthood of a normal human being, where you are growing and gradually gain full power. The second stage is not very long in duration and it is the mere sign of hair starting to lose the growth pattern it had initially; and ready to go to the next state, of death. In the last stage, hair is ready to shed away and usually this state stays on a hair for about a trimester. Typical on healthy human scalp there is a certain balance of hair in each state, like not more than 10 percent of total hair should be in last stage at any given time. So it goes all wrong when there is an imbalance in this distribution.
It is relatively easy to identify the signs of hair loss, as there are many indicators to it. However there are certain myths or yet to proved scientific proof associated with the cause and signs of hair loss. Human feeling that he/she is losing hair is an obvious sign of hair loss. If we restrict ourselves to scalp hair, there are variations in the studies, but on average from a human scalp 100-150 hair fall each day. Although sounds substantial amount, but considering the number of total hair we barely seems to know we are losing this much. The simple rule is if the hair fall becomes so much that you are forced to notice then it is indeed among the signs of hair loss. Although you can’t always rely on your feeling, so you can observe number of hair that stuck in the comb or hair brush, if it is more than usual that’s a sign of trouble, among the signs of hair loss. Other signs of hair loss include the physical appearance of your locks, amount of hair you found on your pillow. Although it may include the whole body hair, but it is considered amid signs of hair loss you observe more than usual fallen hair after shower.
Irrespective of signs of hair loss, if you want to be sure about hair health, consulting a physician is a good option. For instance stress is among the very important signs of hair loss. So if you were under a lot of stress lately, but are not observing the hair fall, it is better to consult a dermatologist to be in no doubt.
